In December, 2014 the City of Saint Clair Shores granted Jarvis the job of making repairs to its library from an August water loss. The carpeting in the first floor and basement of its library needed replacement. In order to complete the replacement, a complete pack-out of the contents on the first floor and lower level was required. Jarvis was given a 3-week time frame to complete the process.
Jarvis' personal property and restoration team worked tirelessly to catalog and inventory the library books, electronics, and furniture; as well as package, pallet, and transport this inventory to Jarvis' Harrison Township warehouse. At its corporate location in Harrison Township, Jarvis has a secured, temperature controlled warehouse where it stored over 15,000 boxes from the library.
Once the carpet replacement was complete, all of the 15,000 boxes and furniture were returned to the facility and resolved. Team Jarvis was able to complete the job ahead of schedule.
