National Disaster Team
The Jarvis National Disaster Team, which is equipped to handle large loss disasters anywhere in the United Sates, has over 30 years experience. Jarvis is a FEMA registered national responder and can quickly mobilize for floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters.
Jarvis owns one of the largest inventories of emergency response equipment in the country. This includes everything from large semi-mounted desiccant dehumidification equipment along with a fleet of generators, portable dehumidifiers, air movers, moisture testing equipment and other assorted structural drying equipment.
Jarvis takes pride in its ability to respond to any large national disaster within 24 hours. We are able to do so because of our strategically located offices and distribution points located throughout the United Sates. Numerous Jarvis semi trucks are fully loaded at all times with the necessary equipment for immediate response.
Our offices act as coordinated distribution points for the manpower and equipment needs of the Jarvis National Disaster Team. When a national disaster strikes, the Michigan office will typically focus on the Northern Midwest; as far west as Minnesota and east through Northeastern U.S. The Florida office provides the same role for the Southeast or other coastal areas typically impacted by hurricanes. The Iowa office supports the Central United States and areas further west.
A key function that many restoration contractors struggle with is coordinated estimate review and invoicing. Jarvis has a centralized accounting team to make sure our clients receive the type of documentation detail needed to support all work performed – in a timely manner! We know how important it is for clients to have this information for insurance reimbursement, FEMA, etc.
Our National Disaster Team includes selected key people from every office who combine to have several decades of experience. Our team meets once a month to discuss strategy and update planning for when disasters strike. These can happen at any time, and at Jarvis we feel preparation is the key to responding in a professional and timely manner.
